Kasoori Aaloo Masala: Recipe

Hello Everyone..

Today I'm sharing a one of my favorite recipe that i've named 'kasoori aaloo masala' which is quick and easy to make and you'll definitely love it..


Ingredients:
Potato: 1/2 kg
Tomato: 2
Ginger: 1 Inch
Red chilli powder: 1/2 tsp
Turmeric: 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder: 1 tsp
Cumin seeds: 2 tsp
Aamchur (Mango powder): 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida (Heeng): Pinch
Kasoori Methi: 2 tbsp
Chaat masala: 1/2 tsp
Oil: 3 tbsp
Salt: As per the taste

Method:

Take a pan (kadhahi) and heat oil. Now add heeng, ginger (crushed) and cumin seeds to the oil. Now add diced potatoes into the pan and toss. Let the potatoes turn a bit golden brown. Then add the diced tomatoes and remaining spices, half-cup water, mix well. Add salt and kasoori methi and cover the pan with a lid and cook until the (subzi) releases the oils. Your spicy kasoori aaloo masala is ready to serve.

How to make Kaanji: Recipe

Welcome again to my blog.

As we all know.. Holi is knocking the doors and for that festival what can be a good beverage if not 'KAANJI'.
That tangy spicy beverage that make your taste buds wanting more n more n more...

Below are the ingredients and the method is given.

Ingredients:
Beet root/ Black Carrot:1/2kg
mustard powder:100g

black pepper:50g
Thymol seeds:20g
Asafoetida(roasted-powdered):1/2 teaspoon
Black salt:1/2 teaspoon
Regular salt (to taste)
Water:5/6 ltr


Method:
Cut beet root or black carrot (anything available) into pieces and add all the spices into it and mix well. Then take a big jar (something like clay pot or glass jar) of about 4 ltr quantity. Fill the jar with water and add the beet root mixture into ot and mix well. Close the jar with a lid. Put the jar in the direct sunlight for 6-7 days and your kaanji is ready to serve.

Makhana kheer: Recipe

Welcome to my blog.

This is my first blog post so i decided to start with something sweet and i am going to share my recipe for tempting makhana kheer with you. I hope you Like it (Serving= 6)

Ingredients:
Makhana: 100g
Milk: 1ltr
Sugar: 4 tbsp (depends how sweet you like)
Cardamom: 5 pods
Almonds: 8-10 pcs
Cashew Nuts: 8-10 pcs
Raisins: 8-10 pcs
Pure Ghee: 2 tbsp
Saffron: 5-6 strands


Method:

Take a pan, add pure ghee and heat. Then add makhana and fry till they turn golden. Now on the another burner, put 1 ltr milk in a deep dish and boil it. Once the milk is boiled, add the fried makhanas to it and cook properly till the makhanas turn soft. Now, mash the makhanas with a spatula and add crushed cardamom pods to it. Also, add well chopped dry fruits and sugar to it and stir. Take a bowl and add two tsp milk and add saffron strands to it, mix till the mixture turns deep yellow and add it to the kheer. Now, the delicious makhana kheer is ready. Serve hot or cool (As you like)
