Shahi Paneer

Hello everyone..

Today i'm going to share my shahi panner recipe with you.

Shahi Paneer has been one of the most loved delicacy amongst indians as well as the foreigners too.
And believe me, it is very simple to make a yummy Shahi Paneer.

Ingredients:
4 tomatoes
3 Onions
1 inch ginger
6-7 garlic cloves
1 tbsp kasoori methi
5 tbsp fresh cream
3 tbsp oil
250 gms Paneer (cottage cheese)
1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp corriander powder
1 tbsp cumin powder
1/2 tbsp Garam Masala (mixed spices)
1 -2 tbsp Tomato ketchup
2 tbsp yogurt
butter
Salt to taste

Method:

Heat oil in a pan or kadhahi, put roughly chopped tomatoes, onions, ginger garlic and 1 tsp kasoori methi  together and toss them. Do not overcook them, make sure that the tomatoes are bit softer and the onions turn bit translucent. Turn off the flame and let them cooled to a room temperature. Once it is cooled, grind the mixture to a thick paste, add 2 tbsp yogurt and grind up once more for about a second. Now, heat oil again, and put this paste directly into the pan, add all the spices mentioned above and keep stirring to cook properly. Add salt to taste. Keep the flame to the lowest and cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for 15 mins. Meanwhile cut the Paneer into dices and add them to the gravy. (you can also fry the paneer). Add fresh cream and a big scoop of butter.

Turn off the flame n enjoy the yummy home-made shahi paneer with rotis or naan which you'll definitely going to love..

Hope this article helps. Would love to have suggestions and reviews.
Thanks..
